Dr. Scott C. Lowe is a research scientist working in the area of machine learning. He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Faculty of Computer Science at Dalhousie University, working under the purview of Prof. Thomas Trappenberg. Dr. Lowe earned his PhD in Computational Neuroscience from the University of Edinburgh, UK, and has published several papers across both the disciplines of neuroscience and machine learning. He has been working with oceanic data for the last two years, and is keen to bring deep learning to this area.
