Leah Fulton
Associate Researcher
Department of Oceanography, Dalhousie University

Leah completed a Bachelor of Community Design (honours in Urban Design and Planning) and GIS certificate in 2020, and recently graduated from the Master of Marine Management Program at Dalhousie University. Her master's research involved working with environmental non-profit to evaluate the benefits of using side scan sonar as a gear detection method for abandoned, lost, or otherwise discarded fishing gear. As an associate researcher, Leah is developing mechanisms to combine social and technologically derived data regarding the seafloor.
